This Cookie Policy explains how ClassGamify ("ClassGamify", "we", "us", or "our") uses cookies, local storage, and similar technologies in the classroom activity platform.

Cookies and browser storage help the product sign users in, remember preferences, protect sessions, keep assignment runners reliable, enforce anonymous attempt limits, and measure product reliability. This policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal information more broadly.

Where the product offers public assignment links, the link may include a share identifier so students can open the correct frozen assignment snapshot. The browser may also store local attempt state, an anonymous student token, timer state, or display preferences so the assignment can work consistently on the same device.

What Cookies and Similar Technologies Are

Cookies are small text files that a website can store in your browser. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, software development kits, analytics scripts, pixels, and server logs.

Some of these technologies are needed for the service to work. Others help us understand product usage, diagnose issues, remember settings, or improve the classroom experience.

Technologies We Use

ClassGamify may use the following categories of cookies and browser storage.

Essential Cookies and Security Storage

These are required to provide the service or keep it secure. They may support:

• sign-in sessions, account authentication, and email verification
• fraud, spam, abuse, and security protections
• request routing, load handling, and Cloudflare security services
• assignment link access, anonymous attempt tokens, timer continuity, and attempt-limit checks
• account deletion, password reset, and other account workflows

If you block essential cookies, account features, assignment links, paid access, or security features may not work correctly.

Preference Storage

We may store preferences so the product feels consistent when you return. This can include:

• language selection
• theme or appearance settings
• interface state such as sidebar visibility
• recently selected activity templates, worksheet settings, or editor options

Clearing browser storage may reset these preferences.

Local Assignment and Runner State

Some student runner and authoring features may save temporary state in your browser rather than in an account. This can include draft form values, selected answers before submission, anonymous student tokens, elapsed timer state, partial-attempt confirmation state, template UI state, recently opened assignment links, or the local browser label used to explain anonymous work.

This local state helps an activity or assignment continue on the same browser where appropriate. It may not sync across devices. Clearing local storage can delete this state or reset anonymous assignment attempt tracking.

Analytics and Product Improvement

We may use analytics tools to understand whether teachers and students can find, use, and complete product flows. Depending on configuration, analytics providers may include Cloudflare analytics, Microsoft Clarity, Umami, Google Analytics, or Plausible.

Analytics may process information such as page URLs, referrers, browser and device type, approximate region, interaction events, performance data, error data, and technical identifiers. We use this information to improve reliability, usability, conversion, and service experience.

Where consent is required for analytics cookies or similar technologies, we will rely on consent or provide the controls required by applicable law.

Payment, Email, AI, Storage, and Support Services

If paid checkout, transactional email, AI features, file storage, or support tools are enabled, providers such as Creem, Stripe, Cloudflare Email, Resend, Cloudflare Workers AI, Cloudflare R2, or a support widget may use their own cookies or similar technologies to process payments, prevent fraud, deliver emails, process teacher-reviewed AI draft or worksheet extraction requests, store classroom source materials, provide support, or keep their services secure.

Those providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies.

Advertising Cookies

ClassGamify does not currently use advertising cookies, social media tracking cookies, or third-party targeting cookies to build advertising profiles. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are commonly used in U.S. state privacy laws.

If this changes, we will update this policy and provide any required notices or choices before using such technologies.

Managing Cookies and Browser Storage

You can manage cookies and browser storage through your browser settings. Most browsers let you:

• view, block, or delete cookies
• clear local storage and site data
• block third-party cookies
• use private browsing modes
• set privacy preferences or tracking protections

You can also use privacy controls provided by analytics providers where available.

Blocking or deleting storage can affect how ClassGamify works. You may be signed out, lose local assignment state, reset editor or worksheet preferences, remove anonymous student tokens, or need to reconfigure product settings.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy as ClassGamify adds templates, classroom tools, account features, payments, AI features, analytics, or other services. The updated version will be posted on this page with an updated date.
